You wear each set for a couple of weeks, then move to the next tray in the series. How long does clear aligner treatment take?
Treatment time depends entirely on the complexity of your case. Minor corrections generally take less time than more involved bite corrections. Dr. Luca will give you a personalized estimate at your free assessment.
Yes, for most of the day, for best results. Remove them to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush your teeth. The more consistently you wear them, the more on-schedule your results will be. Wearing them for noticeably less time each day slows progress and can cause trays to no longer fit properly.
Many plans with an orthodontic benefit will cover clear aligners at the same rate as traditional braces. We accept all insurance providers and will review your orthodontic benefit coverage before you commit to treatment.
Mild pressure for the first day or two of each new tray is normal, and it means they’re working. This pressure is generally milder than the soreness patients experience after traditional braces wire adjustments, and it resolves quickly as your teeth adapt.
